Political, economical and healthcare changes as a whole system in one reform

FROM THE HISTORY OF THE NEW REFORM
OR HOW WE STARTED

Table of Contents:
Printed version of the reform THREE-IN-ONE

At the beginning we started from one reform: traditional medicine and pharmaceutical industry: the new way without the breaks. Then we understood that it required two more reforms : political and economical. Thus, we combined three reforms in one united system: Reform THREE-IN-ONE. This history is about the first reform.

Our company T-UP Biosystems, Inc. uses in its practice a combination of mainstream and alternative medicines, as do many other companies in this field. As all the companies and doctors who want to use in their practice both methods of traditional and alternative medicines, we are facing many challenges and problems. We have found the way to overcome them, but the methods, which are used by us, as by many other companies, are not the very best for the patient.
Upon analysis, our problems became apparent. The same challenges and obstacles block the path of many other companies. What is most surprising and unbelievable is that mainstream medicine and the pharmaceutical industry suffer the most, because they do not recognize the direction and trend of the current market. Regardless of their power and strength, they have started to lose their hold on the market. They have mistakenly seen alternative medicine as their enemy and struggled against it, desperately trying to prove to the whole world that it does not work. But as the Chinese saying goes: "For the short term you could fool everybody, but for the long term you can fool nobody." More and more companies involved in health care around the world use the alternative practices with great results and benefits for patients. Very often the best alternative methods accepted by mainstream medicine become available for public use in other countries. This process ought to be better in the most advanced country of the world - the United States of America.
Alternative medicine is not bad or weak, as the orthodox bureaucrats would have us to believe. For example, have we forgotten that many pharmaceuticals, before they were accepted by the FDA, were considered alternatives from the beginning and were rejected by the mainstream medicine, only later on to be approved.
Let's ask this important question: Why are all the good things that alternative medicine could bring to society opposed by the government?
The ultimate goal of everybody involved in health care is to help sick people get well and to save lives. What happens in reality is that not all potentially available methods are used in order to help really sick people get well or to help people prevent many dangerous diseases.

We believe that we have found a solution, and we need to resolve the following problems: Currently, medical doctors are limited in the choice of treatment that they can use for their patients. Alternative treatments do not have equal rights in comparison with mainstream treatments. For example, a doctor is often afraid to replace antibiotics with some other alternative method, because it is not accepted by the mainstream. If the doctor does so, he/she is at risk of losing his/her licence. The insurance companies, also, do not cover many alternative treatments.

Our task is to make alternative products equally available for doctors use, if they deem it necessary. The approval of alternative methods is required for the purpose of public safety. In order to approve an alternative product as a drug and allow it to become an equal substitute for a traditional drug, we are proposing to use the statistics and results from many years of safe use by nontraditional medical practitioners or the results of such use in other countries, if the tests are approved by officials of that country. This is a reliable source for the decision-making process, if the product in question has been used for a long time and has already passed through a testing period and has proven its effectiveness on many people. Otherwise alternative medicine and the peoples' health will suffer, since the further use of chemicals in our lives, as statistics show, could result in the improper functioning of our bodies. Those natural products which are nontoxic and do not cause side effects should have equal exposure along with traditional drugs and be prescribed for the treatment of the same diseases.

We would like to achieve the following results:
1. The procedure of registering a natural product as a drug or registering methods of treatment such as physical therapy as a medical procedure would be drastically simplified. For this purpose, the test results from other countries would be considered, if they are approved by official sources. If they are considered unreliable or not completely proven for the American officials, the procedure of approval for such a product should be simplified. The research should be conducted only on volunteers and they have to be notified that the research work is in progress using existing rules, and the period of testing and research should be made much shorter than is now practiced by the FDA.
2. Create a new classification for the natural medicinal products and equate these products with drugs so that medical claims could be made for their use (for this purpose we propose a new procedure for easy approval).
3. The natural products classified as drugs should be sold without prescriptions (over the counter), with the exception of the products which have a strong action (such as natural narcotics). This is how its done in the Europe now, where doctors could prescribe a natural drug with or without a prescription. As long as a product is safe, nontoxic, and non-narcotic, it can be used without a prescription and covered by the insurance claims. Otherwise, our nation, doctors and people all suffer, because they may not receive a complete and totally effective treatment.
4. To permit doctors to use, instead of pharmaceuticals, any other alternative treatment, which they think could help their patient better than a mainstream drug treatment.
5. Methods of treatment, such as physical therapy which is far more advanced in Europe and approved by traditional medicine in those countries, should be allowed to be widely used in the United States and to be covered by insurance companies.

All above measures of proposed changes will benefit humanity in the way of greater Health, Longevity, Prosperity and Happiness!
